A church safety team is an act of stewardship — quiet, faithful people making sure worship stays what it's supposed to be. We've trained Texas congregations for more than seven years, and we treat the work with the respect it deserves: no fear-selling, no commando theater, just competence built carefully.

A practical walk-through of your campus and services — entries, sightlines, kid-check flow, medical readiness — ending in a written picture of where you stand and what matters first.

Team fundamentals

For new or informal teams: roles and rotations, radios and communication, de-escalation as the first tool, and how to be present without changing the feel of a service.

Armed-team development

For congregations that choose an armed element: selection standards, training cadence, legal-awareness education, and range work that holds volunteers to a professional bar.

Drills & scenarios

Walk-throughs and exercises tuned to your building and your people — medical emergencies, disruptions, worst days — practiced calmly, reviewed honestly.

Individual certification pathways

Team members who want formal credentials — LTC, Level 2, Level 3 — get routed through our regular courses with a plan that fits volunteer schedules.

What you won't get

Fear-based pitches, tactical cosplay, or pressure to arm a team that isn't ready. Some of our best work has been telling a church to start smaller.

Who teaches this

Credentials that fit a sanctuary

This program is led by our founder — a retired Texas peace officer and TCOLE-certified instructor with two decades of combined military and law-enforcement service — alongside an instructor team that includes a licensed minister and certified chaplain with CPR/AED and Stop the Bleed credentials. That mix is deliberate: church security is ministry and public safety at the same time, and your trainers should be fluent in both. We're a DPS-licensed training school (#F24121701) — verify us on the state's TOPS portal.

How your team members get certified

Most church-security programs stop at seminars. Because we're a licensed training school, your people can earn real credentials with us as part of the same relationship:

Texas License to Carry — for members who'll carry personally; the Intro + LTC combo is the gentle on-ramp for new shooters
Level 2 — for teams formalizing unarmed roles
Level 3 — where a commissioned, armed presence is the chosen path
Level 4 (Personal Protection Officer) — the step past Level 3 for members providing concealed, close personal protection, where the church's needs call for it
