Go Strapped Firearms Training was founded by a retired Texas peace officer who kept meeting the same student: smart, motivated, and completely lost in the licensing process — because nobody had bothered to explain it straight.
So that became the school's whole personality. Every course page shows the full pathway before you pay. Every certificate is explained for what it is — and what it isn't. Every fee is on the table before checkout. Texas licensing has enough real steps without a school adding fog to sell through.
We teach the state's security licensing sequence — Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 — plus Texas License to Carry, beginner handgun courses, and team training for churches and companies. Classroom portions run online where Texas allows it; range work happens in person at North Richland Hills, with a statewide network of vetted partner instructors for students finishing the in-person portion far from DFW.
Go Strapped is a Texas DPS-licensed training school — license #F24121701 — authorized for Level 3 and Level 4 instruction. Don't take our word for it: look us up yourself on the state's TOPS portal. Any school that hesitates to invite that search is telling you something.
